Terms of Service and Neutral Repository Use Agreement
These terms establish the factual, non-referral nature of this directory and the regulatory compliance parameters governing its use.
Nature of Service
The Register operates strictly as a passive compendium of public federal registration records.
Data Source and Accuracy Disclaimer
The primary source of truth for baseline practitioner demographics is the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) Office of Enrollment and Discipline (OED) Practitioner Roster. All data is provided "as-filed" with the USPTO. The Register assumes zero responsibility for outdated firm addresses, contact endpoints, or registration statuses maintained in the federal record.
Service Availability and Deadline Exemption
The Register operates as a public utility without uptime guarantees. The platform explicitly disclaims all liability for missed statutory deadlines, abandoned applications, or consequential damages resulting from search latency, edge timeouts, or an inability to contact a listed practitioner during time-sensitive regulatory filing windows.
Exclusive Remedy for Listed Entities
The Register utilizes automated, objective federal datasets to map technical specialties. Practitioners contesting their programmatic classification agree that their sole and exclusive remedy is to execute the immediate profile erasure protocol. The Register accepts zero liability for perceived reputational impact arising from automated data classification.
SB 37 Shield
The Register does not perform case evaluation, screening, or qualitative vetting.
Deterministic Integrity
All search results are rendered utilizing strictly deterministic algorithms (alphabetical or randomized) without subjective ranking, scoring, or preference.
No Recommendation
Users explicitly agree that the presence of an individual or entity on the Register does not constitute a "recommendation" or "referral" by the platform.
Self-Election Mechanic
The "Format-Certified" badge is exclusively a Technical Capability Marker that is self-elected by the participating practitioner.
Verification Limits
The badge signifies solely the practitioner's election to utilize specific document compilation standards (Syntax flat-XML) to eliminate manual formatting review. It is not a guarantee of professional quality, competence, or regulatory success.
Audit Rights
The Register reserves the absolute right to remove a badge if the practitioner is no longer licensed or equipped to utilize the enabling compilation software.
Zero-Fee Mandate
Zero fees, percentages, commissions, or value-in-kind are exchanged between listed practitioners and the Register for client leads.
Out-of-Band Transactions
All practitioner-client contracts, engagements, and payments occur entirely outside the Register's infrastructure.
Non-Exclusivity and Reciprocal-Referral Prohibition
The Register is completely non-exclusive. Access to, and display of, the "Format-Certified" badge is an open, self-elected technical standard available to any active practitioner who utilizes compatible local compilation software. Syntax does not gate, prioritize, or rank listings based on software licensing status, ensuring zero direct or indirect transactional value is exchanged for profile placement. This structure insulates participating U.S. practitioners from OED audits under 37 CFR § 11.504(c) (sharing fees) and Model Rule 7.2(b) (giving anything of value for a recommendation).
Reciprocal Referral Disclaimer
The Register does not track, enforce, or facilitate reciprocal referral agreements (e.g., cross-border filing exchanges) between listed practitioners. Any such arrangements are strictly private agreements between the practitioners and are subject to their respective jurisdictional ethics rules regarding exclusivity and client disclosure.
Proprietary Database Rights
While baseline practitioner demographics remain public federal records, the aggregated technical classification mapping, normalized schemas, and specific data arrangements generated by the platform's proprietary enrichment pipelines are protected trade secrets and proprietary database assets.
Extraction Ban
The automated bulk-scraping, programmatic querying, or "leeching" of the Register's enriched dataset for the purpose of populating competing commercial directories or training external computational models is explicitly prohibited and infringes upon the Register's specific database rights.
Impersonation
Claiming a profile without a valid Registration Number and a mathematically matching authorized email domain carries strict penalties, including permanent network exclusion.
Cryptographic Forgery and Profile Hijacking
Any attempt to upload a forged Ed25519 signature, or to claim a profile utilizing an unauthorized registration number, will result in immediate permanent IP-level blocking. The Register reserves the right to report such transgressions directly to the USPTO Office of Enrollment and Discipline (OED) for ethical misconduct under 37 CFR § 11.804. The Sovereign Ledger is a strictly policed environment; cryptographic integrity violations are treated as severe ethical breaches, not mere terms of service violations.
